We have changed the domestic shipping rates to flat charges. The first book you order is $2.99 and each additional book is a flat rate of .50.
We think it makes it a little easier for everyone to figure out how much they are spending on shipping. Also, remember that if you spend $25 or more your shipping is always free.
If you would like to have books shipped internationally, please send us an email to see what is the best way to have your books sent to you. Sometimes it is cheaper to send books internationally in a flat rate priority mail box.

After many requests from people trying to find out what cookbook a recipe might be in, we are in the process of developing a website to help you find out easily - whatcookbook.com. This website will debut in early 2010 and the entire purpose is to help you find out what cookbook a specific recipe might be in.
This website will be updated frequently with additional cookbooks. In the initial phase, it will be limited. But over time, more and more cookbooks will be indexed.
On whatcookbook? you will be able to type in a specific recipe title and it will provide you with a list of cookbooks that contain a recipe matching that title. This should be very helpful in finding that recipe that you remember but have no idea what cookbook it came from.
We are looking for volunteers! If you would like to contribute indexes from any cookbooks you might have, we would really appreciate it. Just send us an email at info@whatcookbook.com.

The past few weeks have been very busy around here. We have added an eBay store featuring some of our cookbooks, which is exciting. The eBay store only features right now about 1000 of our cookbooks, there are so many others we have available only on our website.
We have also acquired approximately 2000 additional cookbooks that we are in the process of uploading. If there is a cookbook you are looking for and we do not have it listed, be sure to let us know because the chances are good that either we will come across a copy or we have one and it is just not uploaded online as of yet.

We are currently out of the “freebie” cookbooks we had listed. Once we have a new collection of not so perfect cookbooks, we will list them. Take advantage of them when they are here, because once they are gone, we never know when they will be relisted. If you are placing an order, it really does not add much to the shipping cost to add one or two of these cookbooks.

You may have noticed that on some of the cookbooks we have listed a sampling of the recipes included in the cookbook.
We get quite a few requests from people looking for a cookbook that contains a specific recipe. Although we cannot index every cookbook completely, we thought by at least naming a few of the recipes included that it might be helpful. So next time you are trying to find a cookbook on our website, try also searching for a recipe ( example: vegetarian lasagna) and hopefully you will find more useful information.
